POSITION SUMMARY:

The Compensation Department at Milliman Global Corporate Services (GCS) is looking to hire a Compensation Analyst. The Compensation Analyst supports the development, analysis, and administration of the organization’s compensation programs. This role reviews base pay structures, incentive programs, market pricing, and maintenance of job descriptions, while helping ensure compensation programs align with business objectives and applicable laws and regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the analysis of compensation programs, including base pay structures and incentive programs
  • Assist in evaluating, benchmarking, and market pricing jobs the organization's jobs by documenting responsibilities and requirements in job descriptions
  • Create recurring and ad hoc compensation reports and dashboards to support decision-making using the human resources information system
  • Maintain and update job descriptions to ensure they remain current and aligned with business needs Support the firm’s annual year-end merit and incentive processes
  • Help ensure compensation programs comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Partner with practice and HR Business Partners on pay equity issues
  • Engage and participate in compensation salary surveys
  • Review UKG transactions and Milliman job postings to confirm alignment with the compensation structure
  • Use Power BI to build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and visual reporting for compensation metrics, workforce trends, market data, and internal equity analysis
  • Other duties as assigned

      SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Finance, or related field.
      • The ideal candidate must have 4-6 years of compensation-related experience, including partnering with HR generalists, managers, and employees across the organization.
      • The ideal candidate must have previous experience supporting compensation, HR analytics, finance, or a related function.
      • The ideal candidate must have previous experience working in Microsoft Suite of products, but specifically Excel with formulas, vlookups, xlookups, etc. and comfortable working with large datasets.
      • The ideal candidate must have previous experience with recruiting systems and an understanding of how they operate for job postings, especially understanding the relationship between the recruiting system and pay transparency laws.
      • The ideal candidate must have previous experience with Power BI for reporting, dashboard creation, and data visualization
      • Must have the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
      • Must have the ability to analyze data and translate findings into clear insights and recommendations
      • Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills
      • Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills
      • Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

          • Experience with compensation benchmarking or market pricing
          • Familiarity with salary survey participation and compensation structures
          • Experience maintaining or drafting job descriptions
          • Experience working with UKG, CompXL, Salary.com, and Culpepper

          LOCATION:

          • This is a remote role. This job posting is expected to close on July 27th, 2026

          COMPENSATION:

          The overall salary range for this role is $78,800- $145,130.

          For candidates residing in:

          • Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, Newark, San Jose, San Francisco, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia the salary range is $90,620- $145,130.
          • All other locations the salary range is $78,800- $126,200.

          A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc
