The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting QTS's People Services Operations compensation function. This position will assist with compensation administration, reporting, and address ad-hoc requests and inquiries.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Other duties may be assigned
- Gathers data from market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends.
- Reviews compensation actions in Workday. Ensures internal equity is considered and offer is consistent with job leveling.
- Assists with annual and mid-year compensation process administration in Workday
- Conducts regulatory audits and reports including FLSA and OFCCP
- Manages Payfactors tool including training, data updates, troubleshooting.
- Supports Business Partners with various requests and provides consultation to assist with business needs.
- Regularly conducts data integrity audits.
- Tracks, researches, and resolves compensation related queries.
- Supports in administration of existing compensation plans.
- Participates in salary surveys and analyzes data from survey sources to determine competitiveness.
- Completes ad-hoc requests as needed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or equivalent professional experience
- Five plus years of Compensation Analyst experience
- Experience working with global compensation.
- Strong proficiency using Microsoft Excel including: pivot tables, complex formulas, lookup functions, etc.
- Proficiency in organizing, summarizing, and analyzing large data sets.
- Ability to create effective compensation and financial models, budgets, reports, and presentations.
- Experience with Workday including advanced compensation module
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Payfactors software
- Experience with commissions or development bonus administration
