Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As the Senior Compensation Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in supporting and advancing our global compensation programs. You’ll contribute to the planning, administration, and governance of base pay, incentive plans, and compensation policies—delivering data-driven insights that help shape strategic decisions. This role blends strong analytical acumen with cross-functional collaboration, as you support benchmarking, ensure data accuracy, and help evolve compensation processes and tools. You’ll also monitor market trends, participate in salary surveys, and identify opportunities to enhance our overall compensation programming.

 

While the role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office, this role is open to hybrid work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

If you were in the Senior Compensation Analyst now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Supporting the planning, administration, and execution of global compensation programs and processes
  • Ensuring alignment with our total rewards philosophy, while maintaining consistency, compliance, and equity across regions
  • Providing analytical and operational support for global incentive plans, including annual bonus and retail incentive programs
  • Conducting modeling, scenario analysis, and data validation to support plan design and execution
  • Contributing to enterprise-wide compensation projects, such as job architecture development and program design enhancements
  • Conducting analysis and generating insights to inform future program evolution
  • Building compensation models to support program design, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Maintaining the accuracy of compensation data across systems through regular audits and updates
  • Partnering with HRIS and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot data issues and enhance data processes
  • Leveraging compensation systems, market pricing tools, and HR platforms (e.g., Workday) to ensure data consistency and usability
  • Supporting the creation of clear and effective compensation materials for employees and people leaders
  • Participating in compensation surveys and monitor market trends
  • Analyzing survey results and recommending compensation adjustments to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity
  • Providing compensation insights and consultative support to P&C partners and business leaders on hiring, promotions, and retention
  • Inputting into dashboard creation, reports, and visualizations to support strategic decision-making and program effectiveness
  • Translating complex data into clear, actionable communication materials for diverse audiences

  • Supporting the transformation of our global retail bonus program delivery, partnering with People Technology, Analytics, and Operations and cross-functional partners to streamline operations and drive consistency at scale.
  • Supporting the design and implementation of innovative compensation programs that align with our total rewards strategy and elevate the employee experience
  • Contributing to the evolution of compensation approaches to support new business models, global expansion, and emerging workforce needs

Are you our next Senior Compensation Analyst?

  • You have 4+ years of progressive compensation experience, ideally in a retail or global organization
  • You have or are working towards a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation (or equivalent experience)
  • You have a relentless attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • You have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and you forge strong connections and work collaboratively across all levels of the company
  • You have advanced knowledge of Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets and formulas and extract data and insights
  • You have proven effectiveness in partnering, engaging and working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
  • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
