Ready to be pushed beyond what you think you’re capable of?

At Coinbase, our mission is to increase economic freedom in the world. It’s a massive, ambitious opportunity that demands the best of us, every day, as we build the emerging onchain platform — and with it, the future global financial system.

To achieve our mission, we’re seeking a very specific candidate. We want someone who is passionate about our mission and who believes in the power of crypto and blockchain technology to update the financial system. We want someone who is eager to leave their mark on the world, who relishes the pressure and privilege of working with high caliber colleagues, and who actively seeks feedback to keep leveling up. We want someone who will run towards, not away from, solving the company’s hardest problems.

Our work culture is intense and isn’t for everyone. But if you want to build the future alongside others who excel in their disciplines and expect the same from you, there’s no better place to be.

Coinbase is looking for a Program Manager to join our Total Rewards team. In this role, you'll support our global compensation and benefits programs to drive execution and scalability.

We're seeking someone analytical, detail-oriented, with strong cross functional coordination skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment. You'll play a key role in improving speed, clarity, and impact across the organization

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

  • Drive 0→1 design and translate ideas into structured plans, pilots, and phased rollouts
  • Partner with stakeholders to align timelines, surface tradeoffs, and keep execution on track
  • Develop clear, concise materials to support decision-making
  • Collaborate with Talent and People Operations teams to optimize processes
  • Develop and maintain tools to enhance efficiency of programs
  • Drive change management, communication, and stakeholder enablement to ensure successful adoption of new programs or enhancements

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

  • 5+ years of program management experience in Total Rewards or HR
  • Proven success launching new programs, with strong project planning, stakeholder coordination, and delivery muscle
  • Systems thinker with strong tooling fluency and comfort using AI tools
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—especially when drafting progress updates and exec-ready documents
  • Comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Bias for clarity, speed, and accountability

Nice to haves:

  • Prior exposure to compensation planning cycles, equity administration, or benefits optimization
  • Exposure to M&A integration, international expansion, or regulatory change in the context of rewards or people programs
