The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for managing and analyzing the company's compensation programs to ensure they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the organization's goals. This role involves conducting market research, performing data analysis, and providing recommendations on compensation strategies and practices. The Senior Compensation Analyst will work closely with HR partners, business leaders, and external consultants to support the development and implementation of compensation policies and programs.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive market analysis to evaluate the competitiveness of the company's compensation programs.

Analyze internal and external salary data to ensure pay equity and compliance with legal standards.

Develop and maintain job descriptions, salary structures, and compensation guidelines.

Participate in salary surveys and analyze survey data to benchmark company positions.

Provide guidance and support to HR partners and business leaders on compensation-related matters.

Prepare and present compensation reports and recommendations to senior management.

Assist in the design and implementation of incentive and bonus programs.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.

Monitor industry trends and best practices in compensation and make recommendations for improvements.

Participate in executive compensation surveys and analyze survey data to benchmark executive positions.

Provide guidance and support to executive leadership on executive compensation-related matters.

Prepare and present executive compensation reports and recommendations to senior management and the Board of Directors.

Assist in the design and implementation of executive incentive and bonus programs, including long-term incentive plans.

Support the annual compensation review process, including merit increases, promotions, and equity adjustments.

Collaborate with HRIS and IT teams to ensure accurate and efficient data management and reporting.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in compensation analysis or a related field.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

Knowledge of compensation laws and regulations.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation is a plus.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with HRIS systems and compensation management software.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

The compensation range reflects the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. 8x8 has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Further, individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, knowledge, success, education and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock. Certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales variable compensation incentives based on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
Salary Ranges:
$140,250.00 - $233,750.00
