Ecolab is seeking a Senior Communications Specialist supporting our Global Business Services team.

Ecolab, the global leader in water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services, is seeking a communications strategist and storyteller to join its Global Communications team. This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional to help grow and strengthen the culture of Ecolab’s Global Business Services (GBS) group locally in Buenos Aires and internally around the world.

The successful candidate will be passionate about writing, visual storytelling, editorial planning and execution, and skilled at developing content across numerous channels and a variety of topics, including strategic change initiatives.

As senior communications specialist, you will help support and grow a culture of excellence for the local team in Buenos Aires, building and executing on strategic communication plans to inspire and align teams. Additionally, you will have the chance to work with our global, regional and GBS communications teams to drive alignment and understanding of key strategic and change initiatives, inspiring and engaging associates.

What you will do:

  • Design and implement local communications programs that engage, inspire and connect associates to the global team
    • Develop a comprehensive campaign to grow and deepen a culture of collaboration and recognition
    • Ensure a consistent look and feel for all communication materials
  • Lead communications for GBS+ Buenos Aires initiatives, as determined by the leadership team
    • Develop a variety of content including newsletters, talking points, videos and presentations in support of strategies
    • Support significant change management efforts through effective and comprehensive communication plans
  • Manage executive communications as needed
    • Develop key messages and presentations for key internal and external meetings, including town halls and business updates
    • Draft leadership messages and/or other compelling content to engage and inspire teams

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, journalism or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of related professional experience
  • A global mindset and/or experience working as part of a global team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with concurrent and changing priorities
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to develop compelling communication strategies with clear and measurable goals
  • A versatile writer, with an ability to tailor content for audiences and channels
  • Fluent in all aspects of internal communications, from script writing to strategy and change management communications planning and execution
  • Strong business acumen, with an interest in both learning and communicating about complex topics
  • Critical listening skills and the ability to translate ideas, feedback and thoughts into action/content
  • Able to provide counsel and direction to colleagues, subject matter experts and other leaders on strategy, messaging and change management communications
  • Ability to use data and research to drive decisions and prioritization
  • Fluent in English
