Role Overview

We're seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Communications and PR Manager to craft and amplify our story. In this pivotal role, you'll be the architect of our external narrative, driving brand awareness, shaping industry perceptions, and establishing Eon as a thought leader in the cloud infrastructure space. You'll be a key player in our marketing team, working closely with leadership to execute high-impact communications strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Execute Comprehensive PR & Comms Strategy: Design and implement strategic comms and PR plans that align with our business objectives, driving brand visibility to support company and product moments.
• Media Relations and Analyst Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and analysts (e.g., Gartner), securing high-profile placements and managing briefings.
• Content Creation & Storytelling: Craft compelling press releases, media kits, blog posts, social posts, and other content that effectively communicates our value proposition and thought leadership.
• Social Media Messaging: Develop and implement cross-channel communication plans including building our presence on social media channels.
• Speaking Engagements: Research and pitch Eon leadership for various speaking engagements to showcase our innovations and expertise.
• Thought Leadership Development: Position our leadership team as industry experts through strategic content development and media opportunities.
• Measure and Analyze Impact: Track and analyze PR campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to optimize strategies.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in communications and public relations, preferably in a B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or similar environment.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful comms campaigns that deliver measurable results.
• Strong media relations skills with established relationships with key industry journalists and influencers.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into effective comms strategies.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
• Experience working with executives and providing strategic counsel.
