Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Shift critical perceptions - Develop a framework that enables us to track external perceptions of Kyriba, and what ideal perceptions should be. From there, lead the work in shaping and molding the memorable stories we need to land, to evolve our perceptions amongst our target audiences and measure the impact of our transformation.
  • Corporate Communications – Develop and amplify existing global narrative and messaging and communications strategy that supports Kyriba’s growth and awareness objectives. Drive Kyriba’s value proposition by developing global awareness through earned media, public relations as well as owned media. Manage crisis communications preparedness and protocols.
  • External Communications and Messaging - Build a robust spokesperson bench to support the global communications strategy and delivery of key messages and narratives. Provide media training where required and, with the support of our media agency, structure media engagements to meet Kyriba’s communications objectives.
  • PR and Media Agency - Manage the global PR and Media agency to support product, corporate and CEO PR programs and activities in North America and Europe. Manage scope, budget and assessment of Kyriba’s global agency.
  • Measure Impact of PR and Media - Manage KPIs to measure effectiveness of the communications program. Measure impact of content and messaging and deliver data-driven insights to shape action for marketing, communications and leadership teams. Establish media monitoring to support rapid information dissemination and prepare rapid response plans.
  • Social Media Content – Work with Kyriba’s social media expert to develop appropriate content that ensures a consistent brand voice and drives follower growth on platforms such as LinkedIn. Serve as the filter and selector of content submitted by Kyriba teams, that engages with our audiences and supports Kyriba’s social presence.
  • Customer Stories - Collaborate with client and product teams alongside Kyriba customers to curate and promote great customer stories, including testimonials, videos, media coverage and industry awards.

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • University or similar degree in communications, related discipline or relevant experience.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills in English; additional languages including French and Spanish are a plus.
  • 10+ Years in marketing or communications with an emphasis on PR, media and digital content. B2B communications experience preferred, ideally in finance or payments.
  • Experience working with PR agencies and demonstrated success working placing thought leadership content in leading media and industry publications.
  • Previous management experience, leading a team of two or more people.
  • Expert knowledge with Microsoft Office applications and media tracking tools such as Meltwater.

Base compensation for this role is: $140,400.00 - $177,825.00 annual salary. In addition to the base pay this position includes a variable compensation. The role might also be potentially eligible to long term Incentive. The final package may vary and will be determined by various factors including candidate profile and ideal qualifications as well as specific cost of living circumstances in some specific locations.
