About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced senior proposal manager to provide end-to-end support for assigned Requests for Proposal (RFPs) for treasury products and services. This position serves as an experienced, independent project manager, writer, editor, and consultant. The Senior Communications Consultant partners closely with the sales and relationship teams to completely understand project requirements, recommend customized solutions, hold partners accountable to the timeline, and provide a high-quality, customized deliverable to the client. We seek an independent, detail-oriented writer, communicator, and project manager with a high degree of flexibility, accountability, and responsibility.
In this role, you will:
  • Collaborate and consult with deal teams, leaders, and subject matter experts in developing and executing multiple RFP project plans and comprehensive, compliant responses of varying scope
  • Understand strategic drivers for clients & prospects and create compelling messages to highlight what differentiates Wells Fargo as the best provider
  • Determine areas of strength or opportunity within defined scope of work
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions to determine how to best position Wells Fargo in response to the proposal request
  • Ensure all information is consistent with our brand message, business objectives, and stylistic standards
  • Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables
  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
  • Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business
  • Track and measure results to ensure they are in line with intended outcomes and business objectives
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of proposal experience
  • 4+ years treasury product knowledge experience
  • Strong independent project management, collaboration, and partnership
  • Strong presentation, communication, and execution skills
  • Extremely high level of organization, attention to detail and exceptional time management
  • Proven ability to define, develop, lead, and execute upon strategic initiatives to enhance performance and efficiency
  • Experience developing strategies, managing conflicting priorities, and influencing stakeholders with ability to innovate
  • Ability to ask questions to gain a deeper understanding and drive strategic change
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and Adobe
  • Proven ability to create proposals to address client-specific needs and desired outcomes
  • Ability to recommend solutions and provide evidence to meet client expectations while integrating customer insight and storytelling
Job Expectations:
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • This position is a hybrid work model. Must be willing to work out of Philadelphia, PA, or Charlotte, NC office approximately 3 days a week
  • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities and/or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Information will be shared about expectations during the recruitment process
Pay Range:
  • Charlotte, NC: $77,000 - $121,000
  • Philadelphia, PA: $85,000 - $133,000
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
Salary is just one component of Wells Fargo's total rewards package. Depending on the role, a Wells Fargo's employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
$77,000.00 - $133,000.00
