Position Overview
Autodesk is seeking a Senior Finance Business Analyst with strong experience
implementing and optimizing Forma AI or similar commissions platforms. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping Autodesk’s global commissions ecosystem—leading requirements, driving system design, guiding implementation activities, and ensuring the successful rollout of new capabilities within Forma AI.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of commissions processes and
compensation plan mechanics, complemented by hands-on experience configuring and deploying commissions technology. You will partner closely with Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Finance, and Engineering to deliver scalable solutions that enhance automation, improve accuracy, and streamline end-to-end compensation workflows.
Responsibilities
Forma AI Implementation & Optimization
Lead or support the implementation and enhancement of Forma AI, including
configuration of calculation logic, crediting rules, workflows, and integrations.
Translate compensation plan designs and business requirements into Forma AI technical configurations and deployment-ready artifacts
Partner with technical teams and external platform specialists to architect scalable, controlled, and automated commissions processes
Identify opportunities to leverage Forma AI’s capabilities—such as modeling,
forecasting, scenario analysis, and advanced workflow automation—to optimize performance
Business Analysis & Requirements Leadership
Engage with stakeholders across Finance, Revenue Operations, and Sales Ops to gather requirements and align on system design decisions
Document detailed functional specifications, user stories, data flows, and acceptance criteria for Forma AI enhancements
Serve as a subject matter expert on commissions processes and guide teams on best practices during implementation cycles.
Testing, Validation & Deployment
Define test strategies and lead validation for Forma AI configurations, integrations, and releases
Execute detailed testing of calculation logic, crediting scenarios, plan edge
cases, and financial outputs to ensure accuracy and compliancePartner with Engineering to resolve defects and ensure high-quality, audit-ready deployments of new functionality
Support change management activities, including user training, release
documentation, and communications
Financial Analysis & Reporting Support
Analyze commission outcomes, payout trends, and accrual impacts resulting
from new or updated Forma AI configurations
Ensure alignment with accounting policies, SOX requirements, and Autodesk’s internal control frameworkDevelop insights and reporting to support leadership decision-making during plan design and system updates.
Compliance, Controls & Risk Management
Maintain audit-ready documentation for Forma AI configurations, workflows, and data transformations
Ensure commissions processes adhere to corporate policies, compensation governance requirements, and regulatory standards
Identify and mitigate operational risks related to data quality, calculation logic, system design, or integration points.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field. Advanced credentials (CPA, CMA, CA) or Master’s in Finance preferred
8+ years in Finance, Revenue Operations, Sales Compensation, or
Business Analysis rolesDirect experience implementing or administering Forma AI is strongly
preferredHands-on experience configuring calculation logic, credits, workflows, and
data integrations in a commissions platformStrong understanding of ERP ecosystems and financial data architecture.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical configuration and validate end-to-end system behavior.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with other commissions tools (SAP Commissions, Xactly, Callidus) is a plus
Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on accuracy, process quality, and data integrity
Strong communication skills with the ability to partner across technical and business teams
Ability to lead through ambiguity, drive cross-functional alignment, and manage large implementations in a dynamic environment.
