About the Role 

Essity is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Systems Specialist who will lead and manage commercial system projects end‑to‑end for the Health and Medical North America team. This position is responsible for the project management, operations, optimization, and successful delivery of all commercial systems and tools used across Sales, Marketing, and cross‑functional business partners.

While the role collaborates across multiple business functions, its core accountability is driving structured project execution using modern project management software (e.g., Asana, JIRA, Monday.com) to ensure commercial systems initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business priorities.

 

The ideal candidate should/could live in Charlotte, NC.

What You Will Do

Project Management & Delivery (Core Function)

  • Own the full project lifecycle for commercial system enhancements, upgrades, and implementations—from scoping and requirements gathering through execution, delivery, and post‑launch optimization.
  • Plan, track, and communicate project progress using tools such as Asana, JIRA, Monday.com, or similar workflow and task‑management platforms.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional project teams, ensuring alignment between Sales, Marketing, IT, and Commercial Operations.
  • Manage and prioritize the commercial systems project backlog, ensuring transparency and alignment on timelines and dependencies.
  • Ensure projects meet business requirements, are delivered within scope, and have clear success criteria.

Systems Management & Optimization

  • Lead the configuration, administration, and ongoing maintenance of commercial systems and tools.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements, translate business needs, and ensure alignment on system-related initiatives.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, training materials, and user guides.
  • Conduct routine system audits and implement corrective actions to improve stability and performance.
  • Implement integration processes to strengthen data connectivity and support decision‑making.
  • Monitor CRM and other commercial systems KPIs, ensuring visibility to targets and performance.
  • Partner with commercial teams to ensure system adoption, activation, and optimized tool usage.

Who You Are

  • Degree in a related field (Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or similar).
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience managing projects, preferably within commercial systems, CRM platforms, or technology implementations.
  • Hands‑on experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, Smartsheet, or similar.
  • Strong experience with ERP systems—preferably SAP.
  • Advanced knowledge of system configuration, administration, and lifecycle management.
  • Proven track record in delivering system‑related projects on time and with measurable business impact.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to drive accountability and collaboration.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
  • Knowledge of AI and its potential applications in commercial systems is an advantage.
