About the Role: As a Senior Commercial Sales Manager, your mission is to drive new business and manage key accounts, delivering exceptional commercial value for our client. You will shape and execute the sales strategy, manage a pipeline of clients and sponsors, and help maintain their market-leading status.

Roles & Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Business Development
  • You will sell exhibition space and sponsorship packages to both new and existing clients.

  • You will prospect and convert high-value accounts through phone, email, face-to-face meetings, and industry events.

  • You will build and manage a robust sales pipeline using HubSpot CRM.

  • You will attend competitor and partner events to identify new business opportunities and maintain up-to-date industry knowledge.

  • You will create and implement commercial sales plans in collaboration with the Event Manager.

  • You will identify key industry stakeholders, associations, and anchor clients for strategic partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.

  • You will forecast revenue and monitor performance against commercial targets

Account Management
  • You will nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and increased rebooking.

  • You will maintain regular communication with exhibitors, understand their business needs, and upsell tailored solutions.

  • You will act as the key point of contact throughout the sales cycle—from prospecting through to contract negotiation and post-show feedback..

Others
  • You will work closely with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure the seamless delivery of the show.

  • You will maintain and update floor plans, sales trackers, and exhibitor databases accurately and consistently.

  • You will support onsite rebooking and contribute to live show sales during the event days with a strong on-ground presence.

  • You will contribute to best practice sharing and mentor junior members of the commercial team.

  • You will represent Montgomery Group professionally at client meetings, networking functions, and industry events.




RequirementsMust Haves
  • You have a minimum of 4–5 years of experience in B2B exhibition sales or high-value consultative selling.

  • You have a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a fast-paced and competitive environment.

  • You have experience in managing accounts and developing long-term client relationships across multiple industries.

  • You have strong negotiation and closing skills, both face-to-face and over the phone.

  • You have excellent communication skills, are persuasive, articulate, and client-centric.

  • You have strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.

  • You have a strategic and proactive approach to identifying commercial opportunities.

  • You have high emotional intelligence and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of clients.

  • You have proficiency in using CRM systems, especially HubSpot.

  • You have confidence and ease when networking and representing the brand at high-profile industry events.

Nice To Have

  • You have knowledge or exposure to the packaging, processing, or manufacturing sectors

  • You have developed or sold sponsorship packages for events or exhibitions.
