Angott Search Group has partnered with a well-established Illinois community bank seeking an experienced Commercial Lender / Relationship Manager to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated banking professional who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and managing a quality commercial loan portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow commercial lending and deposit relationships.
Manage a portfolio of CRE, C&I, agricultural, and SBA loans.
Generate new business while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and credit risk to make sound lending decisions.
Structure and negotiate loan terms while maintaining strong portfolio quality.
Cross-sell banking products, including deposits, treasury management, and wealth management services.
Represent the bank through community involvement and business networking.
Qualifications
5+ years of commercial lending experience, including CRE and C&I lending.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Strong credit analysis, underwriting, and relationship management skills.
Proven ability to develop new business and grow a commercial loan portfolio.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
Knowledge of banking regulations and commercial lending practices.
Skills Required
