In this role, you will:
- Partner with Relationship Manager to support the management and growth of a portfolio of complex commercial client relationships, demonstrating sophisticated judgment in understanding client strategies, anticipating financial needs, engaging senior decision makers, and orchestrating a proactive and high-touch relationship experience.
- Assist in credit structuring and portfolio strategies across cash-flow, real estate, and specialty lending by conducting advanced financial analysis, delivering strategic recommendations to clients, and partnering with credit and senior deal teams to execute transactions of increasing complexity.
- Support delivery of the full Wells Fargo commercial banking platform, conducting comprehensive client assessments and directing product partners to design and implement solutions aligned with clients' long-term strategic, operational, and capital requirements.
- Coordinate execution of key initiatives within the Relationship Management organization, ensuring adherence to policy, regulatory requirements, and timely completion of deliverables.
- Serve as a liaison across internal teams to resolve client issues, streamline processes, and strengthen risk controls
- Maintain accurate pipeline and portfolio data within enterprise systems, supporting disciplined relationships and sales strategies.
- Contribute and advance market growth efforts by leveraging sector expertise, industry relationships, and centers of influence to identify and originate new commercial banking opportunities in partnership with Business Development Representatives.
- Provide market intelligence and client insights to inform product strategy and credit innovation.
- 4+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Strong knowledge of core commercial banking solutions, including commercial lending, treasury management, and related financial products.
- Completion of a formal commercial credit training program, with experience in credit analysis, underwriting, and portfolio risk evaluation.
- Proven experience managing commercial banking relationships for clients with annual revenues of $100MM to $500MM
- Established local network and comprehensive knowledge of the Atlanta metropolitan market and surrounding areas
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients and prospects
- Track record of generating new client relationships and building long-term partnerships
- Experience identifying and mitigating risk while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
