Role Overview:
The Senior Collibra Developer role involves configuring and deploying the Collibra data catalog system, managing metadata, development of custom workflows and ensuring accurate data classification and technical lineage for our clients.
This role is remote, located in the United States.
Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Collibra and other enterprise systems using APIs

Develop and implement data management strategies, including metadata management, to ensure the integrity, availability, and quality of organizational data assets supports data-driven decision-making and compliance with data governance standards

Collaborate with data governance team to refine requirements and implement best practices

Ensure effective data lineage and workflow definitions

Utilize Java and Spring Boot to write code

Capture and document use cases

Implement data classification frameworks to organize and categorize data assets based on sensitivity and importance, ensuring appropriate access controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
-
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or similar

6-10 years of Collibra experience

Experience with onboarding assets in Collibra, reverse engineering database schemas, creating data dictionaries and ACTIVITI workflow process

Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Spring Boot

Deep understanding of data governance principles, practices, and frameworks, including data cataloging, metadata management, and data lineage

Experience in data management, including data classification, data quality, and data modeling

Expertise in integrating Collibra with other enterprise systems using RESTful APIs and other integration technologies
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, or New York, Ankura is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the said markets and considers a broad range of factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The range does not include additional benefits outside of salary. At Ankura, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each role. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range is between $85, 000 to $200,000; this range is not a promise of a particular wage.
