The Job in a Nutshell💡

As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you would work with various departments to build tools that provision, deploy, and monitor our different systems. You will be handling the end-to-end process from creating and implementing systems software to analyzing data to improve existing ones. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be creating and integrating cloud-based applications that satisfy company requests and allow all network users to securely communicate and access data. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams across Foodics to understand their needs and guide them to build a more resilient platform.

What Will You Do❓

• Design scalable, secure, and high-availability infrastructure on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Lead the design and implementation of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
• Manage and monitor cloud-based systems and services, ensuring high performance and uptime.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and maintenance.
• Implement security best practices for cloud infrastructure, including identity management, encryption, and network security.
• Develop and maintain observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog).
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem documentation for infrastructure outages.

What Are We Looking For❓

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
• Proven experience with automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and maintenance using scripting or orchestration tools.
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, and network security.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Datadog.
• Strong knowledge of high-availability architecture design, performance tuning, and system uptime optimization.
• Ability to lead incident response, including performing root cause analysis and preparing post-mortem documentation.
• Experience managing production infrastructure, including monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization.
