In this pivotal role, you'll lead high-impact cloud initiatives, from strategy to execution, while shaping the technical direction of our global cloud transformation efforts. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in both leadership and hands-on cloud engineering, with a strong background in designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure. You'll be at the forefront of our cloud operations, guiding global teams to innovate and deliver top-tier solutions that ensure scalability, security, and efficiency.
How you will contribute
You will:

  • Lead the end-to-end strategy, design and deployment of secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud infrastructure, taking a hands-on approach to cloud engineering.


  • Contribute across all stages of the cloud engineering lifecycle, from hands-on low-level design and implementation to strategic high-level solution architecture.


  • Drive global cloud transformation projects, including the implementation of multi-cloud strategies and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.


  • Act as the key technical authority, guiding engineering teams to design and deliver best-in-class cloud solutions that align with business goals.


  • Shape and enhance the cloud security posture by implementing robust security protocols and ensuring infrastructure meets the highest security standards.


  • Partner with senior leadership and stakeholders to align cloud strategies with business objectives, ensuring ROI and performance targets are achieved.


  • Mentor and develop a global team of cloud engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.


  • Establish and drive global on-call support and incident management processes to ensure 24/7 cloud operations with a focus on resilience and uptime.


  • Stay ahead of industry trends by continuously evaluating emerging cloud technologies, ensuring the team remains at the cutting edge of cloud innovation.


What you will bring:
A passion for innovation and a desire to shape the future of cloud engineering, along with the following qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in any software engineering role, with proven expertise in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale cloud environments.


  • Extensive experience with at least one major cloud platform(AWS, Azure, GCP), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and a major programming language (Python, Go, etc.).


  • Leadership experience managing large, globally distributed teams and leading cross-functional cloud projects in fast-paced environments.


  • Strong cloud security expertise, including disaster recovery and high-availability architecture


  • Proven track record in strategic leadership, including collaboration with C-suite executives and key stakeholders to align cloud initiatives with business goals.


  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


  • Fluent English and the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences (technical and non-technical stakeholders).
