About the role
 

The IoT Platform Services is responsible to develop and maintain the IoT Platforms of Electrolux. We have two different original platforms that have a long story and our team is building the foundation for the new generation platform. We are looking for a Senior backend developer who can impact with his valuable contribution to develop in any part of the system to enable us to support a multimillion number of devices of all the kinds Electrolux produces. We need to provide service to other backend teams and applications seamlessly and securely.

What will you do

The main role responsibility will be to develop IoT oriented services. Standing in this role you will have the chance to work on the kernel of the IoT system of Electrolux, the system that must to be able to manage a huge number of devices and with extremely high level of reliability and performances. The full value chain of the IoT application flows and depends on the IoT Platform part, therefore, standing in the center of the IoT system, this roles can leverages all the opportunity and challenges coming with that

Who you are

• University Degree in Computer Science, Software engineering, Mathematics or similar;

• At least 5 years of programming experience in the backend development;

• Proficient knowledge in one of the following languages Java/C#/Golang/Rust;

• Good Knowledge of CI/CD and application monitoring;

• Good Knowledge of Kubernetes system;

• Proven working experience in IOT: AWS and Azure and cloud platforms;

• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in multinational environments;

• Good English level.

Where you'll be:

You will be based in our Petaling Jaya office, in Kuala Lumpur, and reporting to IoT Integration Engineering Manager. You will be part of a dynamic international team where English is the natural language.
