Job Overview: 


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure to support our satellite network, core network, and network operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalability, security, and performance of our cloud services. Key Responsibilities: 


•Design and implement cloud-based solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. 

•Develop and manage cloud architecture and strategies, ensuring best practices for security, compliance, and scalability. 

•Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and cost-effectiveness. 

•Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines. 

•Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud-related issues in a timely manner. 

•Conduct cloud risk assessments and implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data. 

•Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve cloud operations. 

•Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practices. 


Qualifications: 


•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

•5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles. 

•Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related services. 

•Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation). 

•Solid understanding of networking, security, and database management in cloud environments. 

•Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture. 

•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

•Strong communication and teamwork abilities. 


Preferred Qualifications: 


•Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert). 

•Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) and version control systems (Git). 

•Experience with serverless architecture and event-driven systems. 


This is a full time, exempt position, based out of our Arlington, TX office. 


The total compensation packaged will be determined by various factors such as your relevant job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
