Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS)

You will be part of a team designing, automating, and deploying services on behalf of our customers to AWS in a way that allows these services to automatically heal themselves if things go south. We have deep experience applying DevOps techniques in virtually every industry. Every week is different and the problems you will be challenged to solve are constantly evolving. We know and understand DevOps. We build solutions using infrastructure-as-code so our customers can refine and reuse these processes again and again - all without having to come back to us for additional deployments. 

Location: Remote (you must live in Egypt)

What you'll be doing

• Working with engineering teams on a wide variety of projects such as large scale migrations.
• Writing infrastructure as code as (CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Utilizing CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, containerization, etc. to develop the most successful methods for project completion.
• Linux/Windows administration, automated deployments, scripting (Bash/PowerShell/Python).

Required Qualifications

• Recommended 5years experience in Cloud and Software Engineering.
• Solid understanding of the overall AWS Cloud infrastructure (EKS, EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudFormation, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Service architecture and containerization, such as kubernetes.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python and/or Bash.
• You are comfortable interacting with customers and have the ability to communicate and educate Continuous Integration/Deployment: Git, Jenkins, etc.

Nice to have

• Solid understanding of AWS infrastructure and networking security.
• Knowledgeable of configuration management frameworks such as Puppet, Chef or Ansible.
• Working with kubernetes package manager (helm, kustomize).
• Monitoring and logging systems for containerized applications (Prometheus, Grafana, fluentbit)
• AWS Certifications.
• Kubernetes Certifications.
