Western Door Federal has an upcoming position with a government customer for a Senior Cloud Developer to focus on cloud migration and modernization of applications. This is a remote opportunity with some travel required.
Essential Duties:
- Code solutions from business requirements documentation.
- Define solution architectures with Azure Paas solutions
- Develop and deliver application on .Net platform toolset
- Provide front end support with various frameworks including React, Vue.js and/or Angular.
- Perform project work estimation and risk assessment.
- Work with clients and stakeholders to walk through technical assessments and reviews
- Support multiple projects with various deadlines
Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrable proficiency with Visual Studio for web applications, API, and database project development, source control, and deployment.
- Experience with an appropriate toolset for development and deployment of front-end web-applications.
- Ability to guide customers through technical assessments and reviews.
- Ability to manage the priorities of multiple projects concurrently.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field
- 3+ years of professional cloud architecture experience with Azure PaaS solutions.
- 5+ years of professional experience with development and delivery of applications using Microsoft’s .NET platform
- 5+ years of professional experience with development and successful delivery of web applications using modern web frameworks such as React, Vue.js, and/or Angular.
- Experience with end-to-end application development
- Experience leading customers through technical assessment
- 3+ years of experience with data and database structures and solutions within Azure.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps and or GitHub source control processes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of professional software development patterns and practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- US citizenship and ability to hold a security clearance is required
