Want a seat at our table? Ziosk is looking for a highly skilled Senior Front-End Engineer to join our growing technology team. This role is responsible for developing responsive, intuitive, and performant front-end applications that integrate seamlessly with our Azure-hosted cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate has strong front-end development experience, a deep understanding of cloud platforms—especially Microsoft Azure—and a passion for building engaging user experiences.
The Main Course – Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end web applications using modern frameworks such as React and Angular
- Integrate front-end solutions with Azure-based services (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure Blob Storage).
- Collaborate closely with back-end developers, UX/UI designers, and DevOps engineers to deliver cloud-native applications.
- Participate in code reviews, performance optimization, and Infrastructure decisions.
- Ensure applications are responsive, cross-browser compatible (including mobile), and adhere to accessibility best practices.
- Leverage Azure DevOps, Git, and ARM/Bicep templates
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues using Azure tools like Application Insights and Log Analytics.
What You Bring To The Table – Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in front-end development with React and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and working with GraphQL.
- Experience creating single page applications
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Azure certifications such as AZ-204 (Developer) or AZ-400 (DevOps)
- Experience with serverless technologies (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure AppService).
- Experience with various communication options beyond REST and GraphQL
- Familiarity with security best practices (OAuth2, CORS, role-based access).
- Exposure to performance profiling and optimization techniques.
