Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud development, microservices, and C# programming. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing high-quality software, ensuring the scalability, security, and maintainability of cloud services. You will operate in an Agile environment and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.

Key areas of responsibility are:

  • Refine technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and product owners.
  • Design, develop, and unit-test software according to best practices, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Document software design using appropriate tools and methods, including UML.
  • Implement and manage **Continuous Integration** and **Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)** pipelines.
  • Ensure software solutions meet key principles such as security, scalability, maintainability, and high availability (redundancy and disaster recovery).
  • Produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code in alignment with industry standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and DevOps, to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Work within an Agile environment, adhering to Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
  • Stay updated on the latest technical developments and trends in cloud computing through continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Extensive experience in cloud development, particularly with Azure or AWS services.
  • Proven experience in developing microservices architectures.
  • Strong expertise in C# and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Experience using SignalR for real-time communication.
  • Proficiency in asynchronous programming using `async` and `await`.
  • Ability to analyze, debug, and optimize code for performance and scalability.
  • Familiarity with Source Control Management (SCM) tools such as Git and Subversion.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS Chime services.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like ARM Templates and Bicep.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient in relevant design and modeling methods, including UML.
  • Strong analytical, abstract, and creative thinking skills.
  • Ability to think beyond established paths and provide innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • A lateral thinker with a broad perspective (helicopter view) and capable of finding appropriate solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong drive to produce Clean Code and contribute to improving the codebase quality.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
