How will this role have an impact?
As a Sr Clinician Recruiter you will locate, solicit, and recruit qualified Physicians, NPs, PAs and clinicians nationwide. This position is responsible for developing relationships with clinicians by utilizing tools such as cold calling, database sources, internet searches, lead generation and referrals. The Sr Clinician Recruiter builds and maintains a pipeline of qualified clinicians available for work in designated areas of need.
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Rapidly analyzes talent data in new and complex markets to develop and pivot recruitment strategies in real-time.
Proactively builds and maintains robust national talent pipelines using sophisticated, multi-channel sourcing strategies (e.g., targeted cold outreach, database mining, national conferences, and building relationships with training programs).
Manages the end-to-end, high-velocity recruitment cycle—from sourcing, screening, and qualification to offer and onboarding—to meet urgent national staffing demands.
Executes tailored recruitment strategies for 1099 contractor and/or W2 employee engagement models, ensuring a clear articulation of each value proposition
Acts as the primary relationship owner for high-value clinician candidates, guiding them through an accelerated and seamless process, including applications, scheduling, travel, payroll and escalating as necessary..
Builds and maintains strong, collaborative relationships with senior operational leaders, HR, marketing, compliance, and other key stakeholders to streamline deployment and solve critical staffing challenges.
Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on 1099 and/or W2 engagement models. Must possess a strong grasp of the competitive talent landscape and be able to articulate a compelling, differentiated value proposition (including compensation, benefits, and contract terms) to senior-level clinicians.
Manages offer negotiations for complex clinician pay models, partnering with compensation and legal teams to ensure competitive and compliant agreements.
Consistently meets or exceeds ambitious monthly hiring and production targets and meticulously documents all recruitment activity in the designated ATS/CRM.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
5 to 7 years of experience in a healthcare recruiting environment with clinician recruitment experience preferred
Deep understanding of the unique motivations, career paths, and decision-making drivers of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants within various specialties and practice settings
Proven ability to establish credibility and build trusting relationships with a sophisticated clinical audience, demonstrating strong clinical literacy and the ability to engage in nuanced conversations about their professional needs and aspirations
Demonstrable experience navigating the intricacies of clinician compensation structures (e.g., salary benchmarks, RVU models, bonus incentives, loan repayment options), benefits packages, and employment agreements, specifically tailored to W2 arrangements
Thorough knowledge of clinician licensing requirements, board certification processes, and credentialing timelines across different states, and the ability to guide candidates through these effectively
Resilience and a track record of success in a high-volume, fast-paced clinician recruitment environment, consistently meeting or exceeding targets in a competitive market
Demonstrated experience in successfully recruiting for either 1099 independent contractor and/or W2 employee models is required
Preferred Qualifications
Clinician recruitment experience preferred
Certified Physician/Provider Recruitment Professional (CPRP) credential, or equivalent (e.g., FASPR, CMSR), is preferred.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$60,400.00 - $139,240.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
