POSITION SUMMARYThe Senior Client Solutions Specialist is a strategic leader who drives measurable impact through high-level client engagement, solution design, and mentorship. Operating with independence and strategic insight, the Senior Client Solutions Specialist leads complex client engagements, mentors junior team members, and contributes to the evolution of service offerings and internal processes. Senior CSS will engage in client-facing discussions and internal project work, coaching and supporting team members with client work, while not being responsible for all operational tasks.
This role is open to work on-site in Green Bay or remote/hybrid options based on relevancy of candidate experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Client-Facing

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, presenting complex ideas and influencing decision-making.  Leads strategic discussions and presents complex ideas with influence, adapting communication style for executive audiences.
  • Communicate clearly and persuasively with various audiences, including senior leadership, clients, team members, other industry experts, and foster positive and productive relationships internally and externally.  
  • Demonstrates strong critical thinking and scenario assessment skills to quickly evaluate situations, ask the right questions, and determine appropriate actions without prior knowledge of a client’s network; applies discernment to identify key areas for deeper analysis
  • Incorporates project management practices, including developing timelines, creating project plans, and proactively escalating risks to ensure successful delivery and alignment with objectives.
  • Develop and execute project plans for client engagements.  Create detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, and oversee their execution to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the desired level of quality.

Domain Expertise

  • Drive benchmarking, best practice initiatives, and process improvements across client portfolios.
  • Contribute to solution, tool development, and input to product development through structured problem-solving, data analysis, and opportunity identification.  Contribute product feedback to product team as input to planning processes.
  • Research industry trends, best practices, and relevant frameworks to provide guidance and insights.  Establish oneself as an industry expert, participating in speaking engagements and industry associations.
  • Apply analytical tools and frameworks as appropriate to the domain (e.g., sustainability, logistics, supply chain).
  • Manage & escalate risks and challenges. Proactively identify and mitigate risks and challenges that may arise during the course of projects and develop contingency plans to ensure that projects stay on track.
  • Provide support to business development teams on new opportunities in sales pipeline where subject matter expertise can advance outcome of sale.  

Internal

  • Designs scalable solutions that anticipate future client needs and market trends. Contribute to solution and tool development through structured problem-solving, data analysis, and opportunity identification.
  • Mentors others in communication best practices, fostering clarity and confidence in client interactions.  Consult with internal teams to share expertise and drive alignment on strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and contribute to a positive team environment, providing guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Leads innovation efforts, introducing new methodologies and technologies to enhance delivery.  Lead or participate in User Acceptance Testing.
  • Mine for opportunities to drive automation and efficiency through process improvements, creating & refining tools such as SOPs and training guides.  Autonomously leads efforts to optimize processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain, Sustainability, Logistics, Business, or related discipline) or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in the relevant domain (advising, logistics, sustainability, transportation, etc.).
  • Exposure to domain concepts through coursework, internships, or entry-level roles.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and contribute to team success.
  • Passion for learning and eagerness to develop expertise in the field.
  • Requires up to 30% travel
