Job Summary

The incumbent will be responsible to provide strategic guidance on Digital Products, Client solutions, CIB Channels to Corporate and Business Banking clients, develop cutting-edge digital products and client solution propositions to enable Absa Bank Botswana to become the preferred partner in the digital payment space. Lead in driving CIB & BB channel solutioning and digital adoption to align with client transaction requirements, as well as industry and market trends.

Job Description

  • Fostering deep client insights in the context of the Corporate Banking and Business Banking sector approach to ensure that the Banks digital client solutions are aligned/ cater for clients current and future needs. 
  • Provide support to Corporate and Business Banking Teams in commercialising and selling digital products and client solutions. 
  • Provide technical support & advice re: ERP/software installation, software technical problems, customization, training at customer sites and other specialist support. 
  • Facilitate a customer focused design experience by understanding and technically articulating and co – creating digital solutions with the relevant development teams.
  • Provide after sales support & build relationships with individual users and decision makers within client organizations
  • Liaising with customers’ software vendors for payroll, accounting, reconciliation packages etc. and also LANs, modems and data comms consultants to develop suitable interfaces/interface procedures 
  • Maintain operational efficiency and controls within the specialist support area as per Operational Procedures Guidelines 
  • Customer management 
  • Advanced understanding of the product systems and architecture, process landscape end to end for seamless intervention with expert teams in order to elevate the current client solutions offering to meet/ exceed competitor solutions

Education

Bachelor's Degree: Information Systems (Required)
