Your mission as a Senior Client Relations Manager (FMCG) - DACH (m/f/d)
Appinio is looking for a highly driven and passionate Senior Client Relations Manager (FMCG) - DACH to join our team and work closely with the Industry Lead. Act as a trusted advisor to our customers regarding the importance and potential of market research, innovation, and consumer centricity.
In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with companies in the FMCG sector, including food, beverages, personal/home care, and retail. You will showcase the potential of Appinio's capabilities and develop a mutually beneficial commercial framework with FMCG stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing
- Drive Growth: Develop and own the growth strategy for your FMCG categories, acquiring new customers by coaching them on market research solutions using Appinio’s platform
- Build Relationships: Represent Appinio to marketing and insights leaders, creating trust and building a strong network within the FMCG industry
- Expand Reach: Represent Appinio at trade fairs and speaking events, leveraging and growing your professional connections to drive business growth
- Create Opportunities: Develop strategic partnerships to strengthen Appinio’s position as a leading research institute in FMCG
- Understand the Market: Act as the voice of our customers, addressing their needs, monitoring competitors, and identifying growth opportunities
- Collaborate: Work closely with Customer Success and Marketing teams to ensure client success and maximize growth opportunities
- Lead with Expertise: Become a trusted thought leader, helping brands grow and making market research more accessible in your industry (FMCG)
You will thrive in this role if
- You have 5+ years of experience and an extensive network within the FMCG industry, coupled with a strong customer-centric mindset
- You have experience in B2B sales in the market research industry
- You have excellent proficiency in German and communication skills in English
- You are proficient in working with CRM tools such as Salesforce or Hubspot
- You are an empathetic nature with a keen sense for understanding the needs of others
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset and consider yourself a problem-solver
