What you'll be doing:
- Demonstrate understanding of key client information, including general business strategy, Business, and Global trends, and issues that impact products/services, key opinion leaders, customers, and competitors.
- Assist in the creation of communication plans to meet client objectives.
- Assist multiple projects for multiple clients from concept to completion by anticipating challenges, trouble-shooting problems, proposing solutions, offering client counsel, overseeing quality, and ensuring deadlines.
- Lead client correspondence on daily/ routine matters (i.e. daily updates, activity reports, etc.)
- Demonstrate an understanding of varied writing styles depending on the channel, platform, and audience.
- Coordinate and work closely with the integrated teams across creative, digital, performance, and data/ analytics and Edelman partners/ vendors.
- Demonstrate a decent understanding of measurement and insights to track client programs and report on key learnings.
- Keep an eye out for potential new business opportunities while fostering deep client relationships.
- Manage media lists, handle media relations, and provide support for events & new business opportunities.
- Guide and mentor junior team members including interns.
What is required of you:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced and dynamic client or agency role.
- Excellent knowledge and experience of brands and the business environment in Singapore and the Asia Pacific region.
- Good media relationships with Singapore media and regional media based in Singapore. Regional media experience is a plus.
- Strong writing skills and comfortable with delivering high-quality internal and external content.
- Enjoys working in a team & passionate about pursuing a career in communications.
