We are seeking a talented individual to join our Advisory team at Marsh. This role will be based in New York. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As Senior Advisor , you will independently oversee large and complex client accounts and bring together cross-functional teams to design and execute go-to-market and risk strategies. You will serve as a senior advisor to clients, leveraging deep risk and industry expertise to develop tailored solutions that address complex exposures and evolving risk profiles. You will also provide leadership within the Advisory team, mentoring colleagues, elevating client deliverables, and contributing as a thought leader on market trends and best practices.

FI Bond or Commercial Crime experience desired

We will count on you to:

  • Independently oversee and manage large or complex client accounts, coordinating the broader client team to establish procedures, strategies and go-to-market plans.
  • Maintain a near complete understanding of clients’ strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs, providing expert advice and recommending innovative solutions.
  • Utilize deep risk expertise and industry and insurance marketplace knowledge to review exposures and loss experience, developing solutions for complex client needs and identifying opportunities for additional products and services.
  • Develop, present and oversee the execution of renewal and placement strategies in partnership with Placement, Advisory Leaders and Client Executives across relevant zones.
  • Present to prospective clients, identifying needs for new products and crafting differentiated solutions and proposals that support new business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, overseeing the production and quality of client deliverables and final placements, while engaging in senior-level client interactions and serving as a problem-solving and coverage expert.

What you need to have:

  • Significant experience in insurance, brokerage or risk advisory roles with direct responsibility for complex commercial clients and multi-line programs.
  • Demonstrated success leading or mentoring teams, including coordinating workload, managing performance and supporting colleague development in a client-focused environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of risk management principles, insurance products and market dynamics, with experience developing and executing renewal and placement strategies.
  • Strong communication, presentation and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior internal and external stakeholders and influence decision making.

Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $154,200 to $328,400.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
