Marsh is seeking candidates for our open Sr. Client Advisor position in our Marine practice. The role will be based in our Chicago office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

In this Sr. Client Advisor role, you will develop an understanding of the clients' business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs to help provide knowledge and advice to complex clients.
Build and maintain relationships with underwriters, and is involved in the placement of sophisticated insurance programs
Help identify the need for new products and develops innovative solutions for clients.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, and is the primary point of contact for day-to-day service needs.
Complete policy management activities and delivery of reviewed policy to client and helps address client inquiries as necessary.
Deliver technical expertise and taking the lead role in presentations of RFP’s

We will count on you to:
Independently oversee and manage large or complex accounts and brings the entire team together to formulate the procedure and go to market strategy.
Work to maintain a near complete understanding of the clients’ business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs to provide advice accordingly to successfully serve clients. 1
Utilize expert risk expertise and knowledge of industry and insurance market place to review clients’ exposures and loss experience and develop solutions for complex clients’ needs, including recommending additional products and services as solutions. True
Develop, present, and oversee the execution of renewal/placement strategies in conjunction with Placement, Advisory Leaders and Client Executives across all zones where product, industry or account criteria dictate.
Present to prospective clients, identifies the need for new products, develops/suggests innovative solutions to client and client team members to gain new clients and projects.
Build and maintains relationships with clients, and ensures that their complex risk management needs are appropriately met.
Oversee the production of client deliverables and delivering the final placement to the client to ensure the quality of materials delivered to clients.
What you need to have:
10+ years industry experience a must
Marine, Transportation experience along with broker or underwriting experience a must.
P&C license a must, or ability to obtain
