Marsh is seeking a Sr. Client Advisor within their Energy & Power Practice. This role will be based in New York City and is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Sr. Casualty Broker- Energy & Power Practice

  • In this Sr. Casualty Broker role, you will develop an understanding of the clients' business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs to help provide knowledge and advice to complex clients.

  • Helps identify the need for new products and develops innovative solutions for clients.

  • Completes policy management activities and delivery of reviewed policy to client and helps address client inquiries as necessary.

  • Delivers technical expertise in the delivery and presentation of RFP’s

We will count on you to:

  • Maintain and manage an existing book of Energy clients through daily interaction of clients’ needs.

  • Maintain and Solicit new clients and expanded opportunities by developing internal and external relationships.

  • Work with various Energy Casualty Insurance markets to place Marsh clients with for best terms and conditions available in the market place.

  • Populate Casualty market submissions, negotiate terms and conditions with underwriters and communicates quotes to clients.

  • Responsible for overseeing the correct issuance of all documentation pertaining to the transaction including, but not limited to invoicing, policy review and all pre and post binding documentation.

What you need to have:

  • 10+ years industry experience; Casualty brokering experience and Energy & Power experience necessary

  • P&C license a must, or ability to obtain

  • Bachelors' degree preferred

Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $154,200 to $328,400.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
