We’re seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Senior Client Accountant to join our growing Accounting Services team in London, where you will play a key role in maintaining and managing the day-to-day accounting functions, making a significant impact within our global operations.
You will be the main contact for external auditors and work to strengthen relationships with clients, internal teams and service lines. Additionally, you will review the work of bookkeepers and prepare annual financial statements and management accounts for your portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting tasks for a range of Ogier Global clients
- Assist with audit preparations, including VAT returns
- Tracking and monitoring the preparation of financial information
- Ensure accuracy with routine month end / quarter end management accounts preparation for a portfolio of clients
- Proactive identification of process improvement and service line development opportunities
- Carrying out all aspects of role in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and controls
- Support and mentor junior team members and take on additional tasks as needed
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience in client accounting or accounts preparation, along with a diligent and organised approach to work
- Client-facing experience
- Knowledge in Real Estate, Private Wealth, Corporate, or Debt Capital Market accounting environments is desirable but not essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office packages
- Excellent communication and time management skills
