Senior Checkout Manager
Role summary
Senior Checkout Manager is a senior individual contributor role focused on driving Checkout business growth, acting as a Checkout subject-matter expert, and serving as a key bridge between Sales, Product, Risk, and Operations.
This role combines merchant-facing responsibilities, internal enablement, and strategic input into Checkout product evolution.

What you’ll do
- Own and drive Checkout growth KPIs across acquisition, conversion, and retention, with clear impact on GMV and revenue
- Partner with Sales / CSM teams to accelerate high-potential Checkout opportunities and improve pipeline conversion efficiency
- Support pricing discussions, deal structuring, and commercial strategy for strategic merchants
- Identify growth opportunities across markets, payment methods, and merchant segments, and translate insights into actionable plans
- Represent Checkout in key merchant meetings, workshops, and externally facing sessions, including presentations and demos
- Gather structured merchant feedback and market insights to inform product and commercial decisions
- Serve as a key communication hub between Sales, Product, Risk, Operations, and Customer Care teams
- Participate in Checkout product discussions, roadmap reviews, and strategy alignment from a commercial and merchant perspective
Who you are
- 5–7 years of experience in the acquiring / cross-border payments industry, with solid understanding of Checkout products and payment flows
- Proven ability to engage directly with customers, including senior stakeholders, and confidently lead commercial and solution-oriented discussions
- Comfortable with presentations, workshops, and public speaking, both internally and externally
- Outstanding internal communication and stakeholder management skills, able to work effectively across Sales, Product, Risk, Operations, and other teams
- Business-oriented mindset with the ability to balance commercial goals and product realities
- Fluent English (written and spoken); able to participate in global meetings and contribute to international discussions
