The Senior Channel Marketing Manager will develop a joint go-to-market strategy with key partners for F5. This position is responsible for managing partner relationships through various marketing activities, overseeing national partner events, and supporting sales with effective marketing strategies. It involves collaborating with North America partner marketers, global partner marketing, business leaders, F5 channel stakeholders, and F5 marketing teams to deliver a comprehensive customer journey. The ideal candidate should be an experienced channel marketer and program manager with strong digital skills and a B2B marketing background capable of driving multichannel campaigns. 

 

Drive the joint go-to-market strategy and execution for F5’s North America National Partners. 

  • Strategize and build annual and quarterly marketing plans to meet the joint business objectives of the partner and F5. 
  • Drive alignment across multiple stakeholder groups, including F5 channel leadership, partner and partner marketing stakeholders, F5 field marketing, and integrated and solution marketing teams. 
  • Establish and maintain a regular communication and business rhythm cadence with the partners and F5 marketing stakeholders. 
  • Manage and mature programs associated with the national partner GTM, including marketing strategy, campaign development and deployment, and measurement and optimization. 
  • Work with your partners to develop customer experience journeys that span awareness, consideration, and conversion tactics for each campaign. Leverage a multi-channel approach, including paid media, digital experience, events, email nurture, and BDR/tele-qualification.  
  • Strategize and execute multiple hosted events per quarter with partners, managing vendors, partners, and suppliers. 
  • Together with your partners, develop and execute channel marketing strategies to drive revenue growth (PIO) and develop programs to enhance and incentivize partner engagement with relevant training and content on Partner Central. 
  • Manage relationships with key channel partners, providing them with necessary resources, training, and support, including establishing a regular cadence to sync with appropriate marketing and sales stakeholders and working with them to provide marketing plans and KPI readouts throughout the year. 
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our products or services and the needs and preferences of our target audience and channel partners. 
  • Manage budget and F5 Market Development Funds (MDF) usage for key F5 partners. 
  • Establish a program measurement methodology and analyze results in terms of the return on MDF investment. Use performance data to draw insights and optimize campaigns. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to channel marketing. Use this knowledge to drive innovation and improve marketing strategies. 
  • Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies. 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

  • Strong understanding of IT B2B campaign strategy and content marketing to reach a range of IT decision-makers and influencers    
  • Multi-channel marketing experience, including digital marketing and paid media and event marketing 
  • Analytics skills in measuring and reporting performance for demand generation waterfall conversion 
  • Passionate about effective customer journeys and getting into the minds and hearts of the customer  
  • Proven ability to build, support, and manage resources across multiple cross-functional teams to execute high-impact marketing 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, project management, and critical thinking skills.   
  • Provide matrixed leadership while acting as an individual contributor.  
  • Ability to operate with high energy, commitment, and enthusiasm to take on a complex, challenging role in a dynamic, fast-paced organization.  

Expert organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills  

 

Qualifications 

  • BA/BS degree required 
  • A minimum of 8 years of marketing experience in working with a B2B company , and having experience with both a B2B company and working for a national partner is a plus 
  • Development of integrated marketing programs combining inbound and outbound tactics 
  • Experience working with and supporting channel/sales teams desired 
  • Experience using analytics to develop KPIs, metrics, and quantified performance measurements   
  • Powerful written, verbal, and presentation communication skills 

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment 

  • Duties are performed in a typical office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.    
  • Duties require utilizing a computer, communicating over the telephone, and reading printed material. 
  • Duties may require being on call periodically or working outside regular hours (evenings and weekends).  Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane.  
  • The job may be performed on-site at a customer facility, data center, or in an office environment by sitting at a desk or computer table.

The annual base pay for this position is: $126,441.00 - $189,661.00

F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
