Job Description

  • Bring your passion and feel the energy
  • 18 months Fixed Term Contract
  • Location: Sydney or Melbourne

We are currently looking for a Senior Change & Comms Manager to join our Endeavour Group team.

If you are a curious, authentic, and pragmatic change practitioner who thrives in dynamic environments and balances big-picture strategy with hands-on execution, we’d love to welcome you aboard!

Reporting to the Project Leadership Team, this role sits right at the intersection of strategy and implementation. As our Senior Change & Comms Manager, you will bring both strategic discipline (frameworks, methodologies, and best practices) and a hands-on attitude ("on the tools" crafting communications, conducting assessments, and executing stakeholder strategies).

You’ll play a pivotal role in driving our transformational agenda, shaping our strategic narrative, and embedding change management seamlessly across our cross-functional teams.

Sound good? Read on.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

  • Develop and own the overarching strategic narrative for the transformation program, creating consistent, engaging communications across all levels—including executive-level packs and targeted stakeholder messages.
  • Establish and execute a comprehensive change management plan aligned with transformation objectives, anticipating risks, managing resistance, and driving adoption.
  • Build capability and awareness through tailored engagement, stakeholder mapping, training needs analysis, and ongoing support.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the impact of change initiatives across people, processes, and technology to refine strategies in real time.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, retail store teams, and executive stakeholders to align policies, procedures, and program goals

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you:

We are looking for an empathetic, resilient, and proactive leader who operates with a high level of initiative and a customer-centric mindset. You bring a balance of structure and pragmatism, thriving even in ambiguous or fast-moving environments.

  • Extensive experience leading, embedding, and executing large-scale, complex change management programs—preferably within retail operations or FMCG.
  • Exceptional talent for translating complex business and technology information into meaningful narrative strategies.
  • Hands-on experience driving technology-enabled change initiatives in high-profile, cross-functional programs.
  • A strong collaboration style built on trust, humility, and vulnerability, with the ability to inspire, coach, and motivate peers and stakeholders alike.
  • Deep understanding of diverse change management principles, with the ability to blend structure with practical execution.

Desirable Extra Details:

  • ADKAR or PROSCI certification.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
  • A passion for the broader retail landscape and continuous improvement.

The benefits are good too!

  • An exclusive discount card for our ALH Hotels pubs & accommodation, BWS, Dan Murphy’s and other Endeavour Group brands. Through our partnership with Woolworths, you'll also enjoy discounts at Woolies supermarkets and BIG W
  • As a valued member of the team, your health and wellbeing is our top priority. You will have access to a range of free services to help you live well and support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing
  • Endeavour Group is full of opportunities - use our dedicated learning and development options to grow an idea, yourself, and your career. This is just the start, so dream big
