Your role:
As a Senior Commercial Specialist at Taager, you will play a strategic role in driving commercial growth across key product categories. You will be responsible for optimizing product performance, identifying market opportunities, and ensuring merchant satisfaction through data-driven decision making. This role requires a mix of strong analytical skills, market insight, and cross-functional collaboration to maximize category revenue and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive category performance and merchant engagement.
- Identify opportunities for new product launches, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
- Analyze product and category performance using key metrics such as sales, GMV, conversion rates, and customer feedback.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to guide commercial decisions.
- Select, onboard, and manage high-performing SKUs aligned with market demand and merchant needs.
- Collaborate with operations, analytics, marketing, and supply chain teams to implement category initiatives.
- Run experiments and A/B tests to enhance product visibility and conversion.
- Provide insights and reports to leadership on commercial performance.
- Support and mentor junior team members where applicable.

- Category Sales Growth (MoM / QoQ)
- SKU Conversion Rate
- Average Order Value (AOV)
- Merchant Retention Rate
- Stock Turnover / Sell-through Rate
- Contribution Margin per Product
- New SKU Activation Rate
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce, FMCG, or retail category/commercial management.
- Proven ability to drive growth through commercial and data-led strategies.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; knowledge of SQL or BI tools (e.g., Looker) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
