About the Role

THG Ingenuity is looking to recruit a Senior Reconciliation Specialist to support the finance function, and with a specific focus on Cash in Transit reconciliations. You will be responsible for managing a team of up to 3 and reporting to the Group Finance Director. Your primary focus will be to work with the team to ensure the accurate and timely reconciliation of all web sale orders and refunds processed across our platform, being the point of reference for issues relating to payment provider data and resolution of such issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Staff management, including the mentoring and coaching of direct team members
  • Being the SME for all aspects of Payment Provider Settlement reconciliation
  • Weekly and monthly forecasting of transaction fees and cash in transit
  • Query Escalation and Resolution
  • Stakeholder Management, working closely with the Ingenuity Finance Director team to ensure a fluid and agile process is embedded

Requirements:

  • Ability to work with attention to detail in an analytic manner
  • Professional finance qualification either full or in part preferred but will consider someone with relevant industry experience only
  • High computer, numeracy and literacy skills
  • Experience in reconciliations, multiple currencies and high volumes
  • Moderate excel skills required (sumifs, vlookups, pivot tables as a minimum are essential)
  • Experience using Sage or equivalent ERP system preferred but not essential
  • Self-driven, enthusiastic and motivated
  • Confident and assertive with good communication skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Committed, disciplined and able to work under pressure
  • Committed to the continuous improvement of themselves and the business.
