What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing and implementing proactive claims strategies within required timeframes to achieve optimal outcomes and minimise claim costs.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to progress strategies and actions.
- Assessing liability and recovery matters in line with relevant legislation and policies, while undertaking ongoing reviews of entitlements and payments.
- Proactively managing rehabilitation providers and approving rehabilitation and wellness plans in accordance with self-insurance guidelines.
- Supporting injured workers through their recovery by promoting health and wellbeing and empowering them to actively participate in their treatment and return-to-work journey.
- Providing coaching, guidance and support to team members and assisting with escalated or complex claims matters.
