About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Capital Markets Middle Office Specialist in our FCM Clearing Operations Team as part of our Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) Operations division. Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.
In this role, you will:
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of daily derivative lifecycle events, including option expirations, clearing, allocations, compressions, transfers, and break resolutions
- Support both firm-wide and team-specific initiatives, actively participating in user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Stay informed on industry and regulatory developments that impact the business
- Update FCM Clearing procedures monthly to reflect current industry's best practices, new processes, and systems used by the team
- Recommend process enhancements aligned with industry standards to reduce risk, improve straight-through processing, and strengthen controls and operational efficiency
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
- 4+ years of Capital Markets industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- 2+ years of experience utilizing the FIS GMI, Clearvision, or Cleared Derivatives processing systems
- 2+ years of experience working with cleared OTC products
- 2+ years of FCM operations and/or project implementation experience
- Advanced knowledge of trade processing life cycle
- Working knowledge of the CME Group, ICE, LCH, OCC or other comparable clearinghouse systems
