The Sr. Campaign Insights MANAGER (CIM) contributes as a member of a production delivery team, provides oversight to Campaign Insights Analysts as a player/coach, and collaborates with internal/external stakeholders to plan, execute, and measure email marketing campaigns.
The CIM must understand the end-to-end email campaign lifecycle, client objectives, testing strategies, campaign requirements, customer offers, creative messaging, audience segmentation, and historic campaign performance so they can provide insights and recommendations on strategy and provide guidance to the team.
The candidate will also be responsible for gathering and reviewing segmentation requirements, coordinating campaign splits and creative versions, analyzing engagement and attribution reports, providing insights and recommendations on audience performance and testing, creating content for monthly and quarterly business reviews, handling ad-hoc requests, driving operational improvements, and contributing to strategy meetings.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Production Deliverables
- Utilize knowledge of email campaign marketing and data analysis paradigms to provide leadership and management of activities that drive campaign performance improvements.
- Lead status calls with client & stakeholders to gather, document & translate campaign strategies into actional insights.
- Ensure mutual understanding exists with Acxiom campaign manager on requirements for data processing, segmentation instructions & volumes, audience net downs, and controls. Work with stakeholders on final approvals for each.
- Execute and manage timely dissemination of information across campaign data tracking spreadsheets for accurate final processing.
- Analyze campaign results, uncover problems, identify & report on engagement & attribution insights, and make recommendations to improve future performance.
- Provide analytics and support for campaign-specific measurements.
- Manage to client budgets and provide budget forecast projections.
- Provide strategic feedback and communicate updates on campaign progress, goals, and strategy to the client.
- Document final cost metrics for campaign attribution.
- Provide consultation on developing ad-hoc reports and facilitate on-time delivery.
- Document & facilitate client research requests and ensure that results are communicated to the client in a professional and timely manner.
- Participate in performance review meetings, create content, and speak to insights and data as needed.
- Utilize operational effectiveness to deliver quality and on-time work and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Planning & Improvements
- Create analysis related to long-term performance, modeling, lift analysis, trending, data element recommendations, etc.
- Recommend new tactics or strategies that are data driven. Use enhancement or demographic data variables to improve outcomes and review the client's reporting methods.
- Understand and execute all types of analysis and measurements, such as: Audience performance / optimization analysis, opportunity analysis, program measurements.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 5 years email campaign and acquisition strategy experience.
- Experience on a Production Delivery Team.
- Proven ability to manage and work through others toward successful outcomes.
- Project Management experience.
- Proven experience and proficiency in SQL, Oracle, MS Office Suite (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
- Experience with Visualization Tools, such as Tableau.
- Problem solving mentality with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong communication skills and analytical skills.
- Ability to translate ideas into documented requirements with a focus on detail.
- Understanding of data modeling, business analytics/intelligence, data science.
