Department OverviewOur team manages the mission-critical lifecycle of TETRA device fleets, where system reliability is paramount. We are currently evolving our core product from a robust, legacy foundation into a next-generation platform integrated with AI technologies. We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer who enjoys the challenge of deep-system discovery and wants to play a key role in our modernization journey. You won't just be maintaining code; you will be the team’s go-to expert for bridging the gap between our established legacy logic and the future of AI-assisted development.
Job Description
Understand legacy .NET/Java codebase to identify core business logic and provide expert advice on the most efficient paths for modernization.
Serve as the team’s technical advisor on AI-SDLC (AI-driven software development lifecycle) and assist in prototyping new product features using Agentic and Edge-AI technologies.
Work closely with the leadership team to offer technical feasibility assessments for our new products roadmap.
Share your expertise in modern .NET Core, cybersecurity standards, and AI-powered tools (like Copilot or Codeium) with a team of 20 engineers.
Team work on daily basis with Co-pilot & Qodo assistants, along with whole Gemini Pro suite (closed to MSI)
The position requires availability to work from the office 2 days per week.
Basic Requirements
7+ years of experience in professional software development, with a proven track record of staying hands-on with complex systems.
Strong experience working within large, complex legacy environments.
Strong experience with C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core.
Practical experience using AI-powered development assistants and a strong interest in how LLMs/Agentic structures can be integrated into production software.
Solid understanding of modern security protocols and a commitment to building long-lasting, maintainable codebases.
Excellent ability to deconstruct complex systems and provide clear, actionable advice on architectural improvements.
Nice-to-Have Requirements
Familiarity with incremental migration and modernization strategies (e.g., the "Strangler Fig" pattern).
Experience with AI/ML experimentation or integrating AI APIs / MCPs / RAGs
Knowledge of Atlassian toolset (Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, Jira, Confluence).
Ability to explain complex technical transitions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
