What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and deploy trading strategies using modern C++ features.
- Partner with Traders and Quant Researchers to develop best-in-class execution and low-latency market making strategies.
- Foster collaboration with other teams including operations, pricing, exchange access, inventory and risk management, and test automation.
- Ensure operational safety and uphold the highest standards of software engineering by thoroughly testing code, following a coherent and maintainable design and architecture, and adhering to best practices—prioritizing carefully planned, well-structured solutions over ad hoc implementations.
What We’re Looking For
- Proficient in developing performant, scalable trading applications using modern C++; knowledge of C++20 preferred
- Experience with multi-threaded programming and distributed application architecture
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, collaborate, and influence cross-functionally.
- Ability to quickly triage issues and drive the resolution effort through completion.
- Comfortable making architectural decisions independently.
Most teams at CTC, with the exception of Trading, follow a hybrid workplace model, subject to change based on business need.
