Job Description
Location:
This role will be hybrid out of the Madison, WI office.
REPORTING TO/DEPARTMENT:
Reports to the Procurement Operations Manager in the Supply Chain department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Communicates directly with suppliers to place purchase orders, execute reschedules, and process returned goods as appropriate to achieve production schedules balanced against inventories
•Manages and maintains appropriate levels of warehouse stock, work-in-process (WIP), assembled, finished goods, quarantined, and service inventories through the execution of the procurement functions
•Analyzes production, material and capacity requirements and implements manufacturing plans to support the master production schedule, customer order schedule, and service inventory plans
•Participates on product and project teams to plan for and facilitate change management (phase in/phase out) and new product/assembly introduction into manufacturing and service
•Processes change orders as related to WIP, inventory disposition, item setups, and material planning
•Measures and reports on delivery performance of internal/external suppliers
•Drives lean practices with respect to production, inventory, and administration
•Supports cycle counting and WIP verification programs to maintain stock accuracy. Analyzes and reconciles variances, determining and solving root causes
•Performs routine inventory reviews for obsolescence exposure and disposition
Performs other responsibilities as assigned by manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred or Desired:
• Bachelor’s degree in Production and Operations Management or related field is preferred; Associates degree and or/equivalent experience in production
• American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) certification preferred.
Required:
• At least 5 years’ experience in materials/production management, including Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) and bill of materials
• Experience with safety and health (OSHA), FDA, and ISO quality system requirements
• Understanding of quality assurance programs (ISO, FDA, and QRS), ERP Systems and their manufacturing related processes, and production floor process flows
• Excellent verbal, written, and teamwork skills are required.
• Computer skills including the use of standard office software programs including spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, and email applications
• Must be self-motivated with high energy level and a strong work ethic.
• Commitment to high standards of excellence and integrity.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move physical inventory weighing up to 10 pounds.
PAY TRANSPARENCY
The range for this position is $72,000 - $99,000 . Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, future potential and internal pay parity. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Accuray Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process
