The Role
Company Description

We’re a ten-time “Best Company to Work For,” where intelligent, talented people come together to do outstanding work—and have a lot of fun while they’re at it. We offer a solution-focused environment full of collaboration and dedication to our goals and to each other. You’ll have the opportunity to drive your own success in a supportive, globally connected environment. From advanced tools and technology to an immersive company culture, working at Logic20/20 means working on the leading edge, with a community of the right people around you.

Job Description

The Sr. Business Systems Analyst is responsible for eliciting and defining business requirements and translating those requirements into specifications for implementation by the project team.  While the work is managed in an agile fashion, functional specifications, end user training and launch communications are created as part of the project lifecycle.  In addition to typical BSA responsibilities, some project management would also be involved.  In either capacity, the BSA would be expected to demonstrate exceptional communication skills, think strategically or wade into the weeds as necessary, and make decisions based on complex criteria.

The BSA is expected to facilitate estimating of project work; effort and duration.   The BSA will need to be willing to roll up their sleeves and lean in to participate in a wide variety of activities, including gathering, analyzing, and documenting stakeholder requirements (developing process diagrams, user stories, wireframes, and acceptance criteria), and collaborating closely with technical teams to ensure delivered solutions meet business needs. As development progresses to testing and UAT, the BSA will need to lead these phases, lead triage and be prepared to quickly categorize and classify bugs and enhancements to move towards “Done”.

The ideal candidate will have a customer-first mindset and focus on what is possible framed against what is standard practice in the industry.  The BSA can see the big picture, quickly recognize what it takes to achieve it, and drive towards results.  The BSA will have excellent product instincts, passion for great app experiences, a data-centric mindset, and the willingness to do what it takes to have a positive impact on our customers.

About you . . .

  • You have a broad delivery capability that may span strategy, technology, and/or business, with a strong focus on technical implementations or enhancements
  • You understand the skills necessary for both a TPM and a BSA, and you can wear both hats
  • You can set expectations and hold individuals and teams accountable to their commitments
  • You are comfortable working under pressure and independently handling multiple projects and deadlines
  • You are a natural leader with strong communication and collaboration skills; able to navigate challenging group dynamics with consensus-building skills; able to explain solutions, provide alternatives, and have difficult conversations at executive levels
  • You can serve as a liaison between developers and business stakeholders
  • You have a passion for delivering successful projects and are results oriented, with a proven track record of increasing team velocity and effectiveness; demonstrated ability to drive projects to timely completion
  • You have demonstrated an ability to identify business and technical impacts of user requirements and incorporate them into the project plan
  • You are excited about AI and bring hands-on curiosity for building agents — whether through low-code platforms, prompt engineering, or partnering with engineers to ship production-grade automations

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in BSA-type roles (not exclusively or predominantly testing), with progressive responsibility in business systems analysis, requirements definition, and solution delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience with AI technologies, including building, deploying, and managing AI agents, with familiarity in AI/ML platforms and governance practices.
  • Leadership experience (formal or informal) with the ability to drive centralization efforts, establish standards, and align cross-functional teams around a unified AI strategy.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Comfortable presenting to and influencing decision-makers at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills; must be very comfortable with data.
  • Strong consensus-building skills between business and technology partners.
  • Detail-oriented with a belief that details matter greatly to the success of the solution.
  • A high degree of creativity and innovation, with proven examples of applying knowledge, experience, and judgment to ambiguous problems.
  • Experience working in an Agile methodology; Scrum Certification a plus.
  • Proficient in agile tooling like Jira or ADO. Experience with waterfall tooling like MS Project or Smartsheet.
  • Process modeling experience.
  • Waterfall SDLC knowledge and/or experience.
  • An undergraduate degree (BA/BS) in business or technology.
