JOB SUMMARY
Analyze and manage business requirements throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) at an advanced level, including support of requirements workshops, business process modeling, writing detailed functional specifications for new and modified complex information systems, preparing test cases, conducting peer reviews to ensure information systems conform to specifications and ensuring that processes are followed. Additionally, participate with analysis of business requirements and recommend effective, efficient, flexible technical solutions to meet business needs and design system solutions, including data models, software configurations, and integrations. Remain aware of industry trends and best practices to suggest improvements and drive innovation. Perform work within the full range of project development methodologies, including waterfall and Agile methods.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Requirements Gathering and Analysis
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed system requirements.
- Analyze and prioritize business needs, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals.
- Plan and monitor the progress of requirement fulfillment.
Process Modeling
- Enhance the end user experience by providing actionable information.
- Keep the end user/customer at the forefront of thought; support, guide, influence users to see opportunities and value with new approaches using technology.
- Create process flowcharts and diagrams to visualize current and future workflows.
- Identify areas for process improvement and automation.
System Design and Documentation
- Develop elements of systems design, including scoping documents, user stories, business process documentation, workflow charts, diagrams, data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverables
- Design system solutions, including data models, software configurations, and integrations.
- Prepare clear and concise documentation of system requirements, use cases, and specifications.
Testing and Quality Assurance
- Work with the Software Quality Assurance team to guarantee robust automated and manual testing.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing and perform integration testing, as required.
Communication and Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams, facilitating effective communication.
- Ensure that solutions meet business needs and provide support during the implementation phase.
- Groom and maintain backlog with prioritized user stories.
- Assist in the development of training material. Conduct training and organization change management as appropriate.
Continuous Improvement
- Understand issues and resolve them through data analysis, technical research, and team collaboration on highly complex issues.
- Take on highly complex projects with high visibility and multiple stakeholders.
- Assist with active management of third party relationships
- Investigate and make recommendations on emerging technologies.
- Understand enterprise strategy and direction
- Assist users with realizing their strategy and goals through the use of new technology
- Mentor other BAs and team members.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Innate curiosity about technology and how technology can solve problems

- Ability to push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices; Improve innovation by driving new ideas and challenging assumptions
- Understanding of SQL and data modeling concepts for data warehousing
- Advanced knowledge of all aspects of requirements development, business process modeling, functional system design, implementation and support
- Act as a liaison with the Digital Governance, Risk and Security teams to comply with digital governance and security policies and standards during design and implementation
- Be a champion of digital security at TTX
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, programming, or business; master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a BA
- Minimum 10 years professional experience with demonstrated progressive responsibility
- Experience as a product owner
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate complex topics, ideas, and strategies with Senior Staff
- Ability to create wire frames; leveraging intuitive design
- Strong MS Office skills
- Intermediate experience using SQL or other programming languages
- Strong understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Experience using business intelligence/reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI)
