Job Scope
The Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) analyzes and resolves SAP configuration issues, supports new functionality, and provides internal customer support. This role collaborates across business functions to implement technology-driven process improvements, enhancing productivity and profitability. The Senior BSA leads development and support efforts within their SAP sub-group, mentors team members, develops training materials, and applies SAP best practices.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Serve as the SAP PP/PM/QM/ECM (Production Planning, Plant Maintenance, Quality Management, Engineering Change Management) subject matter expert.
• Design, develop, test, and implement SAP modules supporting key business applications.
• Analyze business processes and recommend best practices within assigned functional areas.
• Provide end-user support for break/fix issues and process improvement requests.
• Support Production Planning & Execution, Materials Requirements Planning, Plant Maintenance, Quality Management, and Engineering Change Management.
• Expand or modify systems to improve workflow or serve new business needs.
• Chart business processes to define activities, develop strategies, and enhance process efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business, financial, and operational requirements.
• Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, and alternative solutions.
• Assist in planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and system enhancements.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of IT application development and support experience.
• 5+ years of SAP ERP experience in Production Planning, Plant Maintenance, Quality Management, and Engineering Change Management.
• Proven expertise in business/technical requirements analysis, business process modeling, methodology development, and data modeling.
• Ability to lead SAP enhancement initiatives to meet business requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience implementing configuration changes/enhancements.
• Ability to mentor and train others in SAP configuration and operations.
• Proficiency in importing data for reports, spreadsheets, graphs, and flowcharts.
• Skilled in creating systematic and user-friendly operations procedures.
