Marsh is seeking a Senior Business Solution Architect to join Business Client Support organization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing high quality business solutions in Agile context that deliver valued business outcomes and informed decisions. Build sustainable and repeatable capabilities that support delivery of the highest standards of service and execution. Understand and refine the Target Operating Model for the business. Research and monitor the external landscape to identify developments and translate them into operational implications for the company (e.g. regulations impacting business operations, documentation standards and change management methodologies).

What can you expect?

  • To drive optimisation of operating models across MMB, align them to best practices and realise benefits in terms of reduced costs, enhanced revenues, better controls and improved client satisfaction
  • Track progress on efficiencies globally and report them to Senior Leadership.
  • To lead complex solution design and guide teams on adopting global solutions.
  • To lead complex change projects in multiple countries in collaboration with the development and roll out of new end-to-end technology.
  • To identify areas of improvement within the business processes, systems and user experience for the short term with minimal investment.
  • To work as part of a multi-disciplinary Agile team to design and deliver high quality business solutions.
  • To manage global stakeholders and teams in a robust manner to drive proposed change
  • To build capabilities in business solution architecture practice and to enhance own & and team’s expertise.
  • Be a trusted advisor to Global, Regional and Country Leadership.

We will count on you to:

  • Lead solution design for large and complex engagements.
  • Independently facilitates global workshops and acts as consultant to business functions.
  • Expert within core role with broad knowledge of business functions and Target Operating Model.
  • Provides guidance and peer reviews the work of team members.
  • Understand the global insurance marketplace
  • Develop solutions in partnership with Global and Regional Functional Leaders and ensures adoption of global standards around process, operating model and user experience.
  • Communicate clear and effectively with senior level management

What you need to have:

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Solution Lead or Business Analyst.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Insurance or Financial Services.
  • Experience as lead in process blueprinting, digital transformation in global setup.
  • Experience in leading design/ implementation of automation/ platform solutions.
  • Experience with Agile, Six Sigma and Lean principles preferred.
  • Insurance or Financial Industry Experience preferred.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, relationship building, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English orally and in writing and preferably Spanish.
  • MBA degree or equivalent.
