Senior Business Process Expert - Record to Report

As a Senior Business Process Expert for Record to Report (R2R) at NXP Semiconductors, you will be a key driver in optimizing and standardizing our global financial processes. You will leverage your expertise to analyze, design, and implement efficient R2R solutions, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and operational excellence within a complex, international environment.
Job Responsibilities
* Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) processes, including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Cash & Banking, and Financial Reporting.
* Act as a subject matter expert for R2R processes within SAP ERP and other related financial systems, driving continuous improvement and system enhancements.
* Collaborate closely with finance operations teams, IT, and other business stakeholders to gather requirements, identify pain points, and define future-state processes.
* Develop and maintain process documentation, including process flows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
* Conduct process workshops and training sessions for end-users and key stakeholders, ensuring successful adoption of new processes and systems.
* Support the integration of R2R processes during mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls (SOX), accounting standards (IFRS), and company policies across all R2R processes.
* Identify and implement automation opportunities within the R2R cycle to improve efficiency and accuracy.
* Participate in and lead cross-functional projects aimed at improving overall financial data quality and reporting capabilities.
* Monitor process performance, identify deviations, and propose corrective actions to ensure process effectiveness.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance process optimization, business analysis, or consulting, with a strong focus on Record to Report (R2R).
* In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO modules are essential, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Intercompany processing.
* Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing process improvement initiatives within a large, multinational organization.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS) and internal control frameworks (e.g., SOX).
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable process designs.
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Signavio) and data analysis tools is a plus.
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
* Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
