We are looking for a Senior Business Partner with strong technical skills and solid working experience to work in new challenging projects.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for new or existing IT systems.
- Prepare functional and technical specifications (e.g., BRD, FRD).
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure accurate solution implementation.
- Coordinate with IT partners and stakeholders (external vendors, IT teams, business units, etc.).
- Support UAT, document processes, and train end users.
- Continuously review and improve processes through technology.
- Monitor production systems and provide operational support.
- Work with business units to understand needs and prioritize tech solutions.
- Participate in digital transformation, innovation, and new tech initiatives.
- Represent stakeholder needs within the IT team and vice versa.
- Analyze, model, and extract data from databases.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and external partners.
- Identify opportunities for automation, cost savings, and process optimization.
- Mentor and support junior team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (from a Greek or international institution).
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Management, or Business Administration is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Management and Data Governance projects, with hands-on knowledge of relevant technologies.
- Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken).
- Preferred certifications: CDMP – Data Management Fundamentals, DP-900 (Azure Data Fundamentals), and/or DP-203 (Azure Data Engineer Associate).
- Strong knowledge of modern Data Governance and IT architectures, tools, and technologies (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Azure Purview, Data Lakes).
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
- Proven ability to analyze both business and technical requirements for IT/Data Governance initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Nice to have
- Business Analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, CCBA).
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies or ITIL framework.
- Familiarity with BI tools and SQL.
- Experience in DevOps or IT environments.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of Digital Transformation frameworks.
- Ability to manage and mentor junior team members.
- Proficiency in business analysis and modeling tools/languages (e.g., UML), and project management methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
- Familiarity with QA automation tools.
- Basic understanding of IT system architectures, development technologies, and methodologies.
