THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Senior Business Operations professional to embed within our Product and Engineering organization and help it run better. This isn’t a support role — it’s a high-visibility, hands-on position for someone who can translate strategy into execution, build trust with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
You’ll work directly with senior leadership and across functions, operating at the intersection of product delivery, operational excellence, and strategic planning—real leadership exposure from day one.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Drive Cross-Functional Execution
- Partner with Product & Engineering, and other business teams to lead strategic initiatives from problem definition through to operationalization
- Identify risks, dependencies, and trade-offs early — and drive resolution through influence, not authority
- Ensure work is well-structured and progressing with clear ownership and accountability
Build and Run Operating Rhythms
- Own planning, intake, and review cadences within your scope
- Improve processes to reduce friction and increase delivery reliability — with a bias toward speed, not bureaucracy
- Optimize the tools that support operations and ensure workflows are efficient
Enable Leadership Decision-Making
- Create clear, concise reporting on progress, risks, and outcomes for senior stakeholders
- Distil complex information into executive-level narratives that surface what matters most
- Proactively raise issues with context and recommended next steps — don’t wait to be asked
Measure and Improve
- Define and track meaningful operational metrics aligned to strategic goals
- Translate data into actionable insights that drive continuous improvement
- Spot areas for improvement and see them through end-to-end
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, project management, or a related field — ideally embedded within a product or engineering organization
- A natural communicator who adapts their style to any audience, from engineers to executives
- Takes initiative and moves forward in ambiguity — you own outcomes, not just tasks
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-change environments where priorities shift and structure is earned, not given
- Airtight follow-through — you have a real system, you chase people effectively, and nothing falls through the cracks
- Organized and proactive — you manage up without being asked and keep stakeholders informed before they wonder
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) is a plus
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base Salary: CAD $80,000 – $90,000 per year, plus annual bonus • Total compensation determined based on experience and qualifications
- Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage
- Paid parking
- Paid holidays and PTO
- Stock options
- Casual, high-energy work environment
Additional information
Kaseya provides equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants without regard to race, religion, age, ancestry, gender, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, veteran status, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
Skills Required
- Proven experience in business operations management
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and security solutions
- Experience with cross-functional team leadership
